Gabrielle Louise

Gabrielle Louise

Gabrielle Louise’s songs are rooted in folk and country while her melody and delivery show strong pop sensibilities. Her sound has the earthy feel of Joni Mitchell and her performances the emotion and musical adventurism of Martin Sexton. She is at one moment folkie and ethereal, the next moment a smoky jazz chanteuse. Gabrielle’s clear, angelic voice draws comparisons to contemporary musicians such as Jewel and Kathleen Edwards, while her songwriting is evocative of a young Paul Simon.

Owen Plant

Owen Plant

Owen Plant is a Jamaican-born singer/songwriter who writes, performs, and records universally appealing songs that are a blend of pop, reggae, and folk music. His powerful unique voice has a tambour reminiscent of James Taylor and the soulful passion of Bob Marley. His music also reflects other influences like Cat Stevens, Paul Simon, Jack Johnson, Nirvana, the Beatles, Beck, and Sting. Another major contribution to Owen’s rich sound is his experience growing up in Jamaica, where he was trained on multiple instruments and toured the country playing traditional Jamaican folk and American pop songs. Owen Plant's music draws great strength from a troubled past as his powerful lyrics and heartfelt poetry express human suffering but also embrace hope and redemption.
